He is well known for his social media marketing and is the first entrepreneur in the valley to have embraced the social media for real time marketing. Parsa has initiated some massive social campaigns like Basit Memorial Road safety campaign, Save Chinar campaign-2017 and Gaash - an initiative for the education of underprivileged children of Kashmir. Javid Parsa was the first Kashmiri to be elected in the Central University students union and has also been Nelson Mandela leadership fellow Istanbul in 2016.
